Neo Geo emu and MEtal slug 3

hey. i download lotsa emus and roms, for n64 and snes. they work jus fine. i recently got a neo geo off a frend. it came with seveeral games. some bein metal slug 1 2 and x. they all work fine. i downloaded metal slug 3 off this website (the full one, the one that just says "metal slug" about 70 meg) and it wont work on my neo RAGE emu. i tried a few other emus like nebula and kawaks, but none work. anyone give me sum advice plz?

Not every rom is compatible with neoragex/winkawaks. I recommend you to use winkawaks coz its really good. You can get the latest version of winkawaks here...

For playing any neogeo game in winkawaks, you need to download the winkawaks-compatible version of that rom.

Get registered and LOG IN. After logging in, click "Downloads" in the section on the left hand side. It will again tell you to input username and password but this time for getting access to the rom servers. Those remain the same as your login username and password.

Then click "downloads" and then choose "Winkawaks". It will show you all the winkawaks roms, aka cps1, cps2 and neogeo roms.

Trust me, its WORTH IT. Winkawaks is an awesome emulator and online multiplayer (kaillera) is just AWESOME....

Edit: Also, make sure you have the Neo-Geo BIOS. Its also available in that list named "neogeo.zip" Download that and put it in the Neo Geo roms folder in winkawaks.

PS: If you wanna cheat in neogeo games, you can download the Universal Bios for neogeo. You can get the universal bios and more info about it here....

Just remember....universal bios is only compatible with the latest version of winkawaks
