    Default Goddamn computer...

My computer has been acting really fucking slow for the past 2 months. It's really annoying. You need 15 gigs on your HD to defrag correctly. I only have 8 free but I'll delete a bunch of crap and defrag it. Hopefully it'll speed things up.

Another thing. You know how when you first turn your computer on a bunch of startup programs load? Well I have like 100 programs turning on the second my computer is on. Goddammit. I remember one time I was having driver problems and I called up DELL the dude also showed me how to go into safe mode and remove some programs that run immediately when you turn on your computer. The thing is I forgot. I was screwing around in safe mode last night but I couldn't find anything. Especially those icons near the clock. All the junk like AIM, MSN messenger, hell even Quicktime is there for some sort of reason. I don't remember the last time I used Quicktime. AIM and MSN... if I feel like using you I'll double click on the desktop shortcut instead of having you piss me off. So anyone know how to remove these things?

If by remove, you mean not have those processes load into your comp every time you boot it:

Go to Start, Run, type msconfig, OK.

    Now click the Startup tab.

    The rest should be obvious.

or you can use something like RegCleaner to do the job.
