Yes you did. I was just trying to say that you shouldn't look down on these stories, because even these now scientifically proven and documented creatures were once nothing but stories and myths. Of couse, probably misread.....again (damn, I'm seeing a pattern here)

These long-tailed primates are confined to the island of Madagascar.

"It's more likely to be a viverrid - that's the family which includes the mongoose and civets - which is a very poorly known group," Dr Isaac said.

Clearly not a hoax, unless those photos were done in Madagascar and were passed off as being in Borneo. I'm sure it is somewhat related to the lemur, possibly as some type of subspecies. Although they state that it is closer to the civet family (another lemur like creature)
