    Default Credit Card got stolen?

By the time you'd realise that your credit card no. has been used by the others, is it possible to find out by just checking at your credit card bills and with the help from the bank?

I wonder how if my name and the security code in the credit card was being stolen by just using it in some store. They don't need to memorize the credit card no. because it was shown on the transaction which they were printed out...

They dont print the entire credit card number on the transaction, at least I dont believe they do. I dont believe they're supposed to, at any rate. I dont have a card of my own though, and dont plan on getting one.

If you are even slightly worried that someone is using your card, cancel it right after you read this and get a new one. There is no reason not to do this seeing as it's free and better then you fighting it out with the Visa to get your money back and press charges.

    What they said, now.

BTW, I'm surprised Xaenn didn't say "Good for you, money spending devil!"

Yes, you can find out from the bank. Call them and ask them if any transactions have been made/authorised or what the last transactions made/authorised were and they'll tell you.
Then you can decide what to do..

Hehe, it's not like I don't have a credit card myself...It's so much more convenient than carrying checks around.

Nah, you'd just feel bad to have a big wad of cash in your pockets.

    Sure, it's better.

Nah, I didn't lose it. I just scare that people will find a chance to steal and use it without my notice.. Even my dearest friend will do this to me, believe it.

How about if the 'thief' use it for online shopping?? Can the bank be able to track down those transactions especially when it was made by purchase item from oversea?

I think you can disable that function, atleast here it is optional (online shopping).
It might be enabled by default or you will have contact your bank to enable/disable it.

I mean, is it easy to track down those who're using your credit card number? Like they're filling to their own address while using the other's credit card and it can be track down by the bank... possible to make it easy to catch'em base on the address they're using?

I have acctually found two cards. Well, one was a speed pass, but they are linked to a CC.

The speed pass, I turned into speedpass.com and the card I just cut up.
