That's cool, it reminds me of this one time I was tripping, and I met the Mushroom God. We got along fine for awhile, but then he sent me to Hell.

About the rare/unknown animals though, how about the giant squid, just photographed alive for the first time ever by a Japanese team of sushi chefs, I mean scientists. This animal has been known about for hundreds of years but a live specimen has never been captured or photographed before. Just image, a 70-foot long squid... Space monsters, man!!

    They finally photographed that thing?

People had been sighting giant squid like creatures for years, but it wasn't until the last century that people started finding bodies washed up on shore. Last I heard, there was no photographs/videos of living GS in their native environment.

Of course, what's to say that there are only 70 foot long squids? Who knows, maybe a 200 ft one is just waiting to be found....of a 100ft diameter octopus. The ocean is full of weird stuff. and it is pretty much unexplored.

It's only 2% explored, and I KNOW there's gonna be some scary awesome 300 foot long monsters. Sea monsters are the coolest.

I would think so. If anyone ever has the chance to see some deep sea fishing (or any open ocean fishing for that matter), take the opportunity. You would be suprised the kind of weird looking stuff people catch in their nets.

We seem to think that sharks are the top of the food chain of the waters, and that they have no enemys, nothing for them to fear.

But like it's been said, 2%???.
I'll bet that there is mammels or fish out there in the deep waters where no human has been that eat shark and hunt them down, how the hell do we know that sharks are the most powerful predators on the planet, when we have only explored 2% of out waters.

I look forward to seeing what kind of fish/mammel is more powerful and better hunter than the shark, one thing about life "There is always something bigger and better than you"

Sharks aren't most powerful predator on the planet humans are. Humans could catch and eat anything on this planet if they wanted to I'm just guessing sharks aren't very tasty.

Only because us humans hide behind our guns and technology, go jump in the water with a great white, hell even take a gun with you and we shall see who the best predator is...

Being a predator isn't about who's the toughest w/o any weapons or shit. We humans have all out technological advances and what not, but that's 'cause we own at being "Smarter" than other animals.

I mean, all this shit about dolphins being "smarter" than humans and stuff, like, I don't see them buildinghouses and other things to keep them alive.

We may hide behind our technology but its what we have available because were more evolved than a shark. Actually on a side note it has been proven that Great White's only attack humans because of mistaken identity (they think were seals) you would probably be completely safe in the water with a great white unless of course you began shooting it with said gun.
