I use a broadband connection. It's not the fastest of the broadbands, I don't recall the exact speed, but it's fast without being super fast.

    I have Verizon DSL.

Contrary to the Insight Cable Broadband commercials, DSL is faster.

I feel ya man. Dial up just plain pisses me off. Why the hell is it so slow? Why do people even use it!

Well that is what my connection is classified as. There are limited classes for connections. If you check, 512 can be of a cable or DSL variety,

    My connection is cable.

(wait....did I actually type Cable DSL? Time to fuel up *opens a beer*.....I feel smarter now)

I got Insight Cable Brodband on Sept 11, 2001 (easy to remember), and I had it for about 3 years until I decided I was too cheap to pay $90 for Internet and TV. I went with dialup for exactly 32 hours before I caved in, and called Insight back...

Verizon had a deal going early this year for DSL +Package (+ = the higher speed package) and I signed up. I'll never go back to Cable, let alone dialup.

Credit Soeru for the Verizon deal

shitty stuff in the summer... cuz of the bad network around you get disconnected like 5 times a day....
but in the winter the connection is great... if only i could get more than 100 gigs per months without being threatened to be disconnected....
