There there, it's ok, don't be ashamed.

Speaking of gay, I cannot for the life of me not think that that smiley isn't.

Hmm, what am I thankful for. Being alive and knowing the great people that I do.

However, I don't think stuffing my face is the best way to acknowledge how fortunate I am.

    Don't act all surprised.

Well, if you have a break to do stuff with your loved ones, having a nice, hefty meal might be a good opportunity to let them know that they are cherished by you. Not that you shouldn't the rest of the year.

I believe you are letting you beliefs rid you, if I'm getting this right, of a great deal of fun.

Over thinking it, maybe. I dunno.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. I will be spending it with my family, and there will be 12 of us total. I also have been on break and spending time with my family. Of course my grandparents are here, who I don't really cherish.

However, I don't see what having a "nice hefty meal" has to do with anything. If we have so much to be thankful for, why do we need to eat exorbitant amounts of food? If we're thankful for so much, and so fortunate, then why indulge ourselves instead of giving it to somebody who needs it?

Hey, you don't have to stuff your face, they idea is that the ones you love are there to share a meal with you. Also, not everyone has the opportunity to have a big meal like that often, hence why people indulge themselves. A semi-guilty pleasure, if you like.

Heck, if it makes you feel good to give food, do it. If it makes you feel bad to "stuff" yourself once in a while, I truly pity you. I don't have quite the words to express the feelings I get when I read what you have posted. So, have fun and all. If you can. All I can say is that you remind me of a devotee that must not have fun and eat too much and that should share everything he has. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's the feeling I'm getting.

In the end, I can't say I truly care. Your life, man.

I don't intend to. but I always eat with my family so that's nothing special to me. It's just that, that not everybody can have a big meal like that. But we can!

It seems to me that the whole holiday is just hypocritical. I don't feel bad to do things for myself, but those aren't the kind of things I want for myself. Of course couple that with the fact that I have absolutely no appetite given my stomach problems.

I think you misunderstand me, that I mustn't enjoy my life at all or something. It's just those types of things that are trivial to me.

They all are, if you don't believe what they are based upon. To me, just like Christmas or anything else, those are just reasons to have people over for a big feast that I cook. That's it. I don't believe that simply because you think they're hypocritical that you shouldn't appreciate the time, which I think you do. Another point. I don't see why I should think about people who don't get the chance to stuff their faces like me when I've got the rest of the year to do that. Sometimes it's ok to "leave your beliefs at the door".

Edit: Nevermind, I don't really care to argue on this. It's rather pointless with you.
