Default Dirge of Cerberus to inculde PS3 FF7 Trailer

    Straight from Gamespot:
Gamers in Japan will get a free DVD bonus that includes the E3 preview of how the beloved RPG might look on next-gen consoles.

TOKYO--In Japan, Square Enix announced that preorders of Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII for the PlayStation 2 will come with a free DVD, titled "Compilation of Final Fantasy VII: Reflections."

The bonus disc will feature five direct-feed trailers shown by Square Enix during various events, including those for Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (PSP) and Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII (Mobile). The DVD also comes with the long-edition trailer for Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, which were shown during the Square Enix Party 2005 at Tokyo in late July.

Last but not least, the bonus DVD additionally features the Final Fantasy VII Technical Demo trailer that was created for the PlayStation 3. Square Enix originally exhibited the trailer at E3 in May to show the potential of Sony's next-generation gaming console, and it has since shown the trailer at several other events.

Square Enix notes that the technical FFVII demo is only meant for PS3 presentation purposes and does not indicate that a remake of the classic 1997 role-playing game is being produced for the console.
Could Square-Enix stir up anymore shit on a final fantasy 7 remake on PS3. It is getting ridiculous all this speculation.

Yeah, right whatever SE. If they weren't planning on doing the remake, they'd have dropped that trailer months ago. I wouldn't be suprised if they suddenly pull out a copy of FF7:Remix or whatever crap rename they put on it. With all this sequal stuff happening, it wouldn't suprise me at all that they would remake it (the PS1 remake of Chrono Trigger released after Chrono Cross for example). Of course I would like to see DoC coupled with a copy of AC, that would be great.

Any info on a North American release? I'm planning to get a copy, and I would like to know if this is being included in the NTSC version (If it is, Square is up to something)

It is scheduled for release in NA for 1st March 2006.

    Some other info:
Japanese Dirge of Cerberus beta starts
Square Enix's online multiplayer testing for Final Fantasy VII spin-off kicks off tomorrow.

TOKYO--The wait is nearly over for gamers who have been wanting to participate in the Japanese beta testing of Square Enix's Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. Square Enix has announced it will begin beta-testing the game's multiplayer online mode in Japan starting tomorrow. The company previously planned on starting the beta test September 1 but delayed it due to some last-minute issues in the game's programming. Square Enix is still shipping beta-testing kits to Play Online members who signed up to participate.
    Source Gamespot.

I didn't even know it had an online multiplayer my interest in this game escalates.

Me neither, in fact that's the first I've heard of online with this game. I wonder what that's going to be like? (co-op?, deathmatches?, CTF? with many Vincents?) I guess time will tell....I've gotta go look up some info, because I think my info may be a little old *heads to FF boards*

I have been following it on Gamespot since it was announced and it is the first time I have heard it has multiplayer. Secret Sauce from Square-Enix

Guess it wasn't so secret after all *comes out from under a rock*. Of course I would like to know what exactly the multiplayer and online consists of. Perhaps it spoils some of the plotline and has characters that are unannounced at this point, since they are hiding this multiplayer thing so much (or maybe it just sucks a lot). *Increasingly interested in this game* March has never been so far away.....

EDIt- Looks like it's a co-op online with the current info, but the game can be completed offline. Noticing info on offline mutiplayer consisting of co-op and deathmatches as well
