There's a Harvest Moon: Back to Nature for the PSX and a Harvest Moon for the SNES. Haven't played the first of those, so I can't offer a comparison of the two. I didn't like the farming sim that much though. Oh ... wait, there's also a Harvest Moon for the Nintendo 64. Anyways, I considered those sims, not really an RPG per se.

I haven't heard of Star Ocean for the most part, except through a reference to it in one of the posts in this forum ... it was in the record-breaking topic, I think, but I can't find anything in that heap of junk. It was a post by HaRDkOre though, and he was saying how cool it was.

    That's right.

I have Star Ocean 2 on the PSX which is cool, although there are so many similarities between it and FF7 that it's impossible to think of them as coincidences. Still, it's a deep game, and character interaction plays a very important part in it. Same goes for Star Ocean on the SNES, which was only availabe in Japan, although there is a translation out there, somewhere. Mine doesn't seem to like English, and it just stays Japanese .

    *thinks*

    There's
    Harvest Moon (Snes)
    Harvest Moon (Gameboy)
    Harest Moon 2 (Gameboy)
    Harvest Moon 3 (Gameboy Colour)
Harvest Moon: Back to Nature (Playstation)
    Harvest Moon 64 (Nintendo 64)

And it is an RPG, because you get a girlfriend/boyfriend there's a town with people who you interect with and stuff.

Oops, I forgot all the Gameboy ones.

Here's a web page with standards for comparison:

    http://www.microtactix.com/whatrpg.htm

After reading that, yes, I'll guess I'll have to agree with you that Harvest Moon is an RPG, but it's not an action RPG.

I haven't played BTN, but my fave of the ones I've played is probably Harvest Moon 3 GBC.

Well, Vinni, depends on when you post. For some reason, the forums are especially active when it's night over here in Alberta, Canada (currently about 4:00 am) and probably 3:00/5:00 am in Vancouver (can't remember which way it goes though I'm pretty sure that it's only 3:00 am over there. This is rather unconvenient for us Canadians and Americans. Onestroke's from New Zealand, where are you from, Sixchan?

Before someone asks, my sleeping patterns are still messed from going to school and studying late. Still going to school though. I have genetics class on Monday. That's my only class though. Plus I usually don't sleep very well either. If I want to say messed, I look like a panda by the end of the normal academic year due to lack of sleep.

Actually, I should be heading to sleep too, so see you!

Wait a sec ... Scotland isn't the rainiest place on the earth. Even Vancouver has more rain than it. Check your local atlas.

Indonesia/Malaysia have a lot of rain too.

Lots of rain must mean people are often depressed around there, but you always seem so happy, Sixchan. Even your avatar is.

Does that mean you speak English with that weird accent?
