    i really really LIKE ff-7

    but the annoying part is

in ff7 when u have to go on those stairs it takes for ever till u get down / up and it hurts ur thumb

and another annoying thing is in ff-8 i like the game but.....

when u try getting some thing really close to u a gay monster comes up and takes ur time

those are the most annoying things that piss me off

I'm guessing the stairs you're referring to are the ones in the Shinra headquarters at the beginning of the game. You don't have to take the stairs, you can just run in and fight security instead if you want to.

Annoying game stuff.... how about the limited space for items in Earthbound? Yeah, that'll do. I love the game, but I have to throw away heaps of items just to get some other items that I need.

Yes, you can just head up the elevator in FF7 (though the elevator will go haywire). At first, I thought MyStiC was talking about those stairs in the mansion in Nibelheim, but in comparison to the ones in the Shinra headquarters, those are short.

I find item limits in any RPG game (though realistic) annoying. That was a huge annoyance in FF2, and that became a problem when I accumulated too many materia in FF7 (though 200 is and should be plenty of room). I found the same problem in Earthbound, like Jimmy 1stroke said.

But for top annoyance, I'd have to say those long guardian force summons in FF8 (sorry FF8 fans). I would have to estimate that they take up half the time you spend in battle. And they get tremendously boring after you've send them a couple hundred of times. Even the ones in FF7 aren't that long.

Levelling up your materia so you can get the master materia. THAT's annoying!

I'll second that. Snes, for sure. It has a whole bunch of cartoony-looking characters, and a battle system which is extremely boring (since there are so many "in-depth" messages about the status of the battle). PS I never even finished it either.

How'd you like it, Jimmy 1stroke?

Default SACRELIGIOUS FOOLS! EARTHBOUND R0XX0RS YO B0XX0Rz!

http://starmen.net/indexp.php is the best site for the best game .

Earthbound is my favourite game, I thought I advertised it enough for some people around here to realise that. Thanks to you I'm going to EB-ify my theme for my sig, title, location etc.

NESS WILL DESTROY ALL THE NON-BELIEVERS!

The cartoony graphics suited it's humorous style, as it was a modern day spoof of all the rpgs around which take themselves dead seriously. Get it and Earthbound zero (aka Mother) for NES and try them out for yourselves people; don't immediately agree with Omnislash or myself, as you have to play the game to judge for yourself.

Has anyone else seen the d&d skit in Summoner? It's about the only good part of the game .

    YEAH!

"Can I have a mountain dew?"
    "Are there any girls there?"

And the Red Faction guy... hehehe.

By the way, I found out that I could change my name, so I changed it to Jimmy Onestroke, and then I had what I thought was a smart idea, and changed it again, but then I couldn't change it after that... so yea. I have to wait for however long it takes to change my name. Again.

I'm uploading Earthbound, do you want zsnes and Jnes for the emulators? I have Earthbound zero ready for when Earthbound's done. I might have to make a topic about Earthbound to even the score with the millions of Final Fantasy topics around here.

Earthbound should be up in ten minutes or so.

How's about Harvest Moon? It's an RPG where you don't save the world.

Yay! Farming is 1337. So is marrying random village girls.

Earthbound is unique, but the ultimate goal remains to be saving the world.
