    Hi
Thanx you for your feedback! =P
I've just released the v0.92 with some bug fixes and the new fixed data files. I'll explain how the get list works: ths letter selector is used to locate the url of certains roms set. As you can see, when a roms set is selected, the letter box becomes disabled if there is no need to select a letter ('coz the #-Z list will be loaded). If it's enabled, that means you need to select the letter of the roms you want to show.
You are right about a function to go at the beginning of a letter, i'm looking for a solution right now - when you press a letter (g for example) the roms list will scroll down until this letter...but...something wrong lol
After i'll fix all bugs, i'll include emuusanet support, as well of full tosec sets and MAME sets. Thank you again!

What exactly does the program do?

Well, you can download automatically ANY roms set available in the supported servers (that means edgeemu, emuchina and planetemu currently). Roms manager is included. To find out more check the new website:

RomsBase kicks much arse. My only gripe would be to make is skinable, so i could customize it to fit my desktop theme (mostly evil clowns and penguins). But that's just me .

    Lol, crazy man
haahah..who knows...may be in the 5.0 version i'll add skins support For now, i'll be happy to release the 1.0 final version (even if i'm already coding the 2.0 beta...my goal is emuusa.net support and all tosec/mame/arcade sets!)
    He heee l8r

If the games cannot be saved, what's the point of using the program. BTW, what consoles are supported

Chrono, if you read the site, u'll find that the games cannot be saved IN THE CURRENT version, 'coz is a beta and i need to debug everything before releasing the final version. Then files will be saved (there will be some download limitations to keep the roms server alive). Version 1,0 will support any Cowerins's GHood roms set. 2.0 will includ support for TOSEC/ARCADE/MAME...and many news stuff. But first, i want to release the 1.0 final version. That's why there is a beta - ppl *should* try it and help me discovering bugs.

What do you mean "to keep the rom server alive"???

I mean that if everyone will use this tool to leech 24/24 all roms from the emuchina-edgeemu-planetemu servers, they'll have to close 'coz they pay the bandwitdh. That's why i'll include some limitations...this tool isn't intended for 24/24 roms leeching...

Will it support ISOs as well?

Well, unfortunately not...but if you know any good site that has on his servers iso's, i can add the support for that site. PM me if you are interested

Ok RomsBase 0.98B is ready, i've included the downloads limitation (if you can crack both program restart delay AND maximum roms download security system, i'll give you the full version with supports for TOSEC/MAME/ARCADE roms ) and fixed all the know bugs. Now i'm tired to debugging my tool the whole day, i'll wait for anough bug reports, then i'll fix and enable the function to save files on disk. See ya soon!

Btw, the site now is only http://snoopx.mirrorz.com
