Currently playing SSX On Tour - and I'm not very happy with it. First off, friggin EA reused some song tracks for burnout 3 and 4 for this game (not to mention EA's taste in music has been on a steady decline anyway). Secondly, this game is set up like Burnout with a bunch of stupid little missions you have to complete to get better. In other words, what that means is I have been playing for about 3 hours now, and I've only raced 1 (REAONE) full race out of the 25 events i've done. I couldn't tell you if the mountain is fully connected in this game like it was in SSX3 or not since all I do are stupid little snippets that last about 40 seconds (i.e. accumulate a total of 20 seconds air time). Thirdly, the game is just flat out slower than the pervious games, and aside from the game looking almost identical to SSX3, there is some draw in that's really annoying. Anyway, I was much happier with SSX3, and I advise the rest of you to keep playing that one.
Oh, and my biggest issue with this game is that it is endorsed by MTV. There's even a damn video option on the menu screen that takes you to these stupid MTV TV Spots. I don't like what MTV has become (reality show central, anyone??) and now they have their grubby hands in this game. Just one step closer to The Real World Videogame. And i'll have you know EA is stupid enough to make something like that too.
