A few months back, in April 2005, a friend of mine told me of wonderful thing known as emulation. "I could play console games on computers? Now I won't have to deal with shitty cartridges!" I googled "emulation", and came up on an emulation site (not EP). I used this place to get emulators. As with anyone who got new stuff, I wanted to try this stuff out. I searched for days on end, when my friend told me of Emuparadise. I remember stumbling upon it before, but thought nothing of it then. So, I took his advice, and checked EP out. This site was wonderful, so I bookmarked it and registered on the forums. I used it for all my ROM and ISO needs.

Then, a few weeks later, I bought Guild Wars. That pretty much sucked up over 850 hours of my life, and emulation was the last thing on my list. Then, about a week ago, Guils Wars started to lose its iron-fisted grip in me. And I thought- "I really should play Metal Gear Solid. I've heard some good things about that game." Of course, I couldn't just go out and buy it, as it had been defiled by M of Doom. Curse my 13-year-oldness! So, using the BT Tracker, I had MGS for my own. And I thought- "I should post on the forums too. I think I'll use my old account, from April."

And the rest of the week, as they say, is history.

My brother joined first, he showed me the site, so I ended up registering too.

I joined under the false pretence of naked women and general frolicking and tomfoolery.

    I got Skinner.

    Of course, I stayed.

An interesting conundrum, and one which can only be resolve by the mutliation of small children, apparently.

I'm glad. If the resolution didn't involve mutilation of small children, I'm afraid that it would forever be unresolved.

I came here looking for Sega CD ISOs I believe. I saw that there was a post limit in order to get into the trading post however. I was a bit annoyed, but decided to post anyway.

Turns out that I got into the community and didn't give a damn about the Sega CD ISOs anymore. I did eventually get all I wanted though. I'm not really even that much of a gamer anymore.

Basically the thing that kept me here is the time when we had so many great debates (Dingy, Karragh, Skinner, you of course were the most memorable in this time (for me at least (how many parentheticals can I put inside eachother?))).

Now I don't come around as near as much as I used to. But I come back remembering such times.

About 4-5 years ago (my MHD -Mental HD- doesn't have a long-retention cache so I can't remember exactly) I was looking for some roms and I bumped into this place. Could be for SNES, Mame, MHD problem again
Then a few months ago I was looking for some PSX games and I checked my old bookmarks to find a site and I looked for EP name in google so there...

I stumbled across this site while checking for SNES roms about a year ago. I visited several sites on the top 50 list but they all had poor selections, too much voting, and/or huge numbers of broken links. When i found this site i stayed since it had a large number of ROMS and ISO's which actually worked and had minimal voting. Since then its been my most frequently visited site, and i just recently decided to register.
