Also, why the hell do you need 3 copies of windows XP? Thats what you are buying there...
Sorry, they messed up their listing. In the list for operators there was a list with 3 WinXP Pros and one geon 1 but they were they same product, thats a price drop Also why shouldn't I build a Comp? I've taken this peice of crap apart...I took out the processer, cleaned the board, installed ram DVD ROM, Graphics card....The only thing I'm worried about is setting the voltage on the motherboard but If I read the instructions good I'll make it work.

Also I DID jsut pick the Highest priced items but the list I have is my modified list that isn't highest priced by any meens. The only thing I have maxed price for is the processer and mother board

Any one have a suggestion on a better mobo/Processer combo and which Vid Card to get? Cause thats what this thread was started for, not to get criticized about what I pick

Don't get a 500Gb HDD, in particular Hitachi which Desktar series kinda suck at the moment, if it crashes you'll be crying. I suggest 2 Western Digital 300Gb with 16mb buffer.
The rest seems fine to me, I had no experience with BFG but I wouldn't trust them alot. Dunno, something makes them look bad to me. Not saying you shouldn't buy it, but I dunno, maybe someone had experience with a BFG vid card.

I have an NiVidia Geforce FX 5500 in this computer and it works fine (except around steam and smoke o.O). I think ATI cards LOOK cooler but personally I guess I just like the BFGs better Just my opinion.

Incase you didn't know BFG and ATI are the leading companys not just ATI kinda like AMD and Intel, they tend to make the same type of products and one is only SLIGHTLY better than the other. I'll look into a better HD like you said although I don't care about the HD as long as its better than this one...which is 26 GB o.O

BFG is not a leading company, it uses Nvidia chips (which IS a leader company) to make video cards. Just so you know.

The only thing I am picky about on your list is the case, though that seems like the ultimate gaming rig right there...

If this is your first time putting something together, I would be very cautious on how you put it together (Read the directions exactly, step by step). [Useless information]

i've never done anything with amd to be honest. but would the MoBo be able to support the processor? the lowest rating on the MoBo is 1600 Mhz, and the processor is 1 GHz. also, i would go with a 7800GT if your gonna blow BIG bucks on the card. Also, i would grab a SATA150 HDD, you have 8 SATA ports, USE THEM!!! Also, onboard audio, in general, sux. grab a 5.1 sound card. or if your feeling wild, get a 7.1 card one last thing, didn't i tell you LCD's are obliderated by CRT's???????

Lol you Pandan00b, it's 1Ghz Front side bus not 1Ghz clock speed.
Also, most onboard sound chips are fine for gaming. They support up to 7.1, so i dont see the problem here. Why spend cash for nothing?

i picked up an Audigy 2 ZS OEM for $90 cdn, i don't really see it as a waste of money. it's more ins and outs than a gay/lesbian convention. seriously, they had to provide an extra slot panel with a gameport that plugs into the card with a wire connector. and the ports are all gold plated, and i got spinners for my cpu and case fans. OMFG bling-blingzor!
