    Default boot.ini problems

okay, ill try to make this as simple as possible. I have 2 hard drives right now, a 10GB and a 40GB. the 10GB has XP installed and the 40 has Vista Beta 2. Vista has its own boot.ini and so does XP. If i unplug the HD with XP, i cant boot because it wants to read the boot.ini on the 10gb, not the 40.

in other words, can i change the location of the boot.ini file somehow so it doesnt read my XP one, only the Vista one?

This happened to me with a bootable usb key.

just make sure the boot sequence in the BIOS is set to HDD1 everytime you wanna boot from the drive with vista on it...

BTW: if you could get back to me how vista runs thatd be cool
