Ok i want to upload things i cant because my java script setting are fucked up before i was using sbc broweser(ie) now im usuing fire fox and whenver i upload somethign i get a error saying document contains no data this is really becoming aggervating becuase no matter where i go no one seems to have an answer all i want is a little help so i can share my stuff with you guys anyone with some kind of answer or help doesnt hesitate to mention it.

Edit: in firefox i went javascript console and this is what some of the stuff says after tryig to upload to yousend it and file front:
Warning: Non-standard document.all property was used. Use W3C standard document.getElementById() instead.
    Source File: http://www.yousendit.com/
    Line: 35

Warning: Non-standard document.all property was used. Use W3C standard document.getElementById() instead.
    Source File: http://www.yousendit.com/
    Line: 36

Also when trying to upload from filefront i went to my javascript console and it said something the attempt to upload from one host to another was blocked by security managaer.... and so on wtf does that mean.

use the opera browser instead. that browser tells you stats of the upload.

OK, no need to double post. (or curse)

According to the Mozilla Tech Support forums, the problem is caused by the code used in the web page you're trying to open with FireFox:
the problem is that the site uses the document.all JavaScript command which is proprietary Microsoft, not W3C standards
    Source: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewto...+property+used

Which means you have to use IE for those kind of web sites.

However you seem to have a problem using FirFox with YSI, whixh is very strange, because I can use FireFox with YSI, no problem.

And I'm guessing that you could use FireFox too, before this problem developed.

Well, try it wth IE, and see if it works.

Dude, I feel you...sorry about the prob.

I'm still having major problems with my desktop. Sun0vabeech is till messing up on Javascript. As you know, a ton of sites use Javascript including Megashare & Ultrashare. Make me want to take a sledgehammer and destroy the PC. After coming to my senses, I found a M$ technet article (DIE M$oft you nazis...DIE DIE DIE!!!!!!!!) about it. It turns out that when IE (in other words, the browser from Hell) gets hooked up with some adware, it will hose the java engine. I had a problem with ATPartners.dll, which comes from the ATP toolbar/spyware. Made me angry, and angrier...what the heck....paid $$$ for this PC & it better work.

I'm still in process of backing up all good files, bookmarks, financial junk, wallpapers, pictures, and making a dir structure in notepad of my C drive. After a quick look, I will restore from the Recovery Disk and start over.

It's a good idea to make a recovery disk of your best stuff. Before even going online, right after a Sys Restore, get your best apps and install them. Make a dir structure to notepad. Then, save that as a future restore.

btw, my laptop hd crashed but Gateway sent me another. So that's two PC problems in a week...I smell a rat.

Good luck, I'll post back with an update.

so should i do a spyware/adware scan and if see if that has something to do with it and i would do a system restore its just that i have so much stuff and not enough room to burn them.

Edit i just did a spyware/adware check and i didint have anything but cookies so i guess im back to square one again i guess if all else fails i can back up everything(way to much stuff) and then reinstall
