    That MIGHT be happening coz you MIGHT have already learned the technique from that enemy OR that Musashi can't learn any new technique from that enemy. Press the R1 button to lock onto an enemy. If your targeting reticule on the enemy is BLUE, that means that it has an ability that you can duplicate. Enemies from whom you can learn a NEW technique are the ones that make a "!" appear on your head . Also, later in the game, your cat master will teach you a new technique in which all the enemies make a "!" on your head and if you press the square button on time, you'll do a counter attack, finishing off the enemy in one slash .

    Oh by the way, I have a shitty internet speed, so Street Fighter Online isn't for me Sorry.
