I bought a 3rd party NES system - works great, plays all my old games that just have too much class to play on emulator.

The only way to go is the original NES. If you have problems with the connection pins, just buy a new one off eBay and replace it or use a Game Genie to enhance the connection and you're set. I played <b>Adventure Island II</b> for three days straight (I fell asleep a lot, I was really, really tired that week).

holy crap i cant remember the last time i bought a game...i think it wuz the legend of zelda - oracle of seasons for gbc about 2 or 3 years ago...i live on downloads...

That is pretty bad, man... even if you just go to a pawnshop and pick stuff up, that's fine. I really don't like it when people just freeload their way through everything. It's one of the reasons I'm really getting into collecting now... that and it's really cool saying I own a billion NES games.
