Duhallan was THE toughest boss I've ever played bar maybe the Queen Metroid in Metroid 2 on the GBC.

Duhallan was from Golden Sun 2: The Lost Age. Basically if you found all the Djinn from both games you were allowed entrance into a special dungeon under the city near the Jupiter Lighthouse. At the end of this dungeon guarding one of the best summon combos in the game was Duhallan. Even if you were at level 100 you'd have as much difficulty than you would even at level 70 because he was that tough. He would use one ability to drain all 4 of the frontline attacks of their djinns abilities until each of them (one by bloody one) was restored, but by that time those 4 would probably be dead because when your djinn are on standby mode all the stat booststhat come from holding those djinn dissapear.

So basically Duhallan was THE hardest boss in GS2 and coming a close 2nd was the the guardian of the treasure island, then in 3rd it was the final dragon boss.

Its the best out of the 2 by far. The story gets a lot more interesting in this half of the overall game and the amount of times you've played GS already doesn't make the graphics on this version any less decent because of all the newer spells that even the orignal 4 characters learn once they join forces with the once kidnapped group headed by Felix.

    Back to topic:
Currently playing Fable: The Lost Chapters (PC) and still trudging through Dragon Warrior VII.

Classes start in three days - running out of time to beat DWVII

I'm still playing tales of Destiny at a slow but steady pace, stead yas in I don't have any worries about being hindered by a tougher boss than me so I have to train some more to beat him, nope, don't have to do that in the least as the random encounters help a great deal in this game.

Cave Story, last frickin' secret dungeon which is hard as hell. Argh. It's weird to see some random jap guy breeze through it in 3 minutes, whereas I've spent 3 hours just trying and dying over and over again.

[FONT=Arial]Well, I finished Chrono Trigger. I'm working on Legend of Zelda: OoT, and found this old but cool PC game called Master of Orion(I doubt anyone knows, so i'll put it this way: turn based strategy game in space).

The only gripe is that instead of hearing SB16 style FM synthesis or General MIDI music, there's a feeble imitation of such.

Meh... not much of a gripe. Most of the old games I play are NES/Genesis/SNES though.

And I just snagged the 1000th post in this thread.

Master of Orion 2 is the greatest turn-based space strategy game. Ever. Period.

On the PS2: Michigan, a survival horror, looks great but it's in japanese, don't know exactly what to do with the camera.

On the Dreamcast: Tony Hawk 2. This one is tougher than the ones released on the PS2 I think, especially the special tricks.

GameCube: Resident Evil (remake). Man, this game has changed, and every change they did was awesome (though I don't like the zombies waking up again after killing them, but burning them to avoid that is awesome though ). It's sadly not very scary (been scared like, 2 times), maybe I've been playing too much Fatal Frame/Project Zero.

PS2: Shadow Hearts: Covenant and Guilty Gear X2 #Reload. SH:C kicks ass, and I'm too bad at GGX2#R to fully enjoy it, but I still enjoy playing.

PC: Guild Wars (if you see Razhkrut Alazakard (PVE), Griffith Alazakard (PVE), Stormh Alazakard (PVP) or Abomin Alazakard (PVP), fuckin' shout) and Enemy Territory.
