Sonic The Hedgehog and Herzog Zwei I guess. It was my first videogames![]()
Final fantasy for the NES. It got me hooked into RPGs
I should also mention Shadowrun. Snes, Genisis, and the japanese Mega-CD version. If you haven't played them, do it now!
...Shadowrun, you take my breath away![]()
Duck Hunt. Because of that game, I now have to urge to shoot a dog whenever I see one... I'm kidding, but that's the reason I don't like dogs. They all make me think of that darn dog laughing at me.

Final Fantasy 7, It changed the way I look at RPGs completely.
Final Fantasy X. It was the very first RPG Ive ever playedbut I enjoyed RPGs ever since

I'd say that DDR actually went a long way to changing my life. It made me more active, and helped me to be more rythmically inclined.![]()
Everquest.. I played this game for six+ hours EVERY day for three years or so.. Sold my character when I was done playing for $1250, and bought my first car using the money i had from a video game..
FF7, transformed me into an RPG gamer instead of sports.. Ive played every rpg under thesun since then, or tried to anyways.
Street Fighter II had a big impact on me. Great gameplay, hard-to-master controls, very detailed graphics for the day. I remember the arcades were packed with multiple rows of SF2 cabs.
After a few years and a few callouses i finally mastered the shoryuken, yay
I guess Ultima Online had a pretty large affect on me. After I had dropped out of school Ultima Online was my only way of interacting with people outside my house. This was at least 8 years ago, boy the years go by fast.
Xenogears had a tremendous effect on my mind, but I don't know if it was exactly life-changing. It still remains a testament to how immensely beautiful a video game can be with story alone.
Twisted Metal 2. first video game i ever played. i remember it like it was yesterday. i thought it was just some racing game with guns. man was i wrong.
Hmmm, I'd have to say D&D, the pen and paper old school style, hehe... It may not be a video game, but nevertheless a rather immersing one, since your MIND makes the "graphics"![]()

It must have been either Pac Man, Donkey Kong or Pitfall.
One of them started my gaming habit when I was 3. Thus changed my life.
My dad still pays for that mistake every birthday and christmas![]()

I really don't know how a game could actually change someone's life but for me I never really played v-games as a kid. One day I went to a friends house when I was about 14 and started playing FF7 and after that I was hooked. Now I have more games than anyone I know (personnaly). So I would have to say FF7.
3 words: Metal Gear Solid.
Half-Life also pulled me into the time-consuming world of online gameplay.![]()
To be honest I have not played a video game in more than 6 months, damn, I don't know what the hell I'm doing at Emuparadise...
