Long boring summer. I start back on the 29th of august. College, not H.S. God, I can't wait to go back so I can get some action.

P.S. You should be a dirty cop.

I start school in two weeks. It will be my third year at CSU, but I'm only a few credits shy of being a senior. Alas many of those credits put me no closer to being an electrical engineer.

I've been working full time and taking classes this summer, so I only have this week and the next as a break. But I got a sinus surgery done yesterday, so it's hardly an enjoyable break.

My second year of college/6th Form starts on August 31st. I suppose that's the equivalent to softmore in USA, 17-18 year olds?

It's a different system in England. Your colleges are basically the equivalent of our universities.

I'm back on the 7th of September, I think. First year of college for me.

Sometime early september i think. I'm trying to enjoy what little time i have left. It won't be that bad though, the school i'm going to this year is really laid back, I won't have much to do.

I think I get it. So your college is your basic education? Like our high schools? Then, your higher education is what you call universities?

I guess you could describe our college as a stop-gap thing. You can either go to a dedicated college or stay on at certain schools, but colleges are generally more popular because they tend to offer a larger array of courses. Basically it's a chance to study your chosen subjects (usually four of them) in a little more detail before you have the opportunity to go to university and gain a degree in one of them. Colleges here still count as higher education because they are optional (even though most people choose to attend one) but universities are, err, I guess you could say even higher.

Primary school. 4-11 years old. Nothing particularly important happens here.
Secondary school. 11-16 years old. GCSE courses and exams in the final two years. Similar to your SATs; you need them to get into a decent college.
College. 16-18 years old. AS/A level courses, these basically mean Advanced level. By this point education is no longer compulsory.
University. 18+ years old. Degrees and the like. Again, it's optional to attend university but a lot of people choose to do so.

That's the general idea, at least. It's slightly tricky to explain but hopefully this makes it a little clearer.

I start school on Aug. 16th. I am only going to be there half of the day because in the mornings I have college classes. It will be nice to sleep in on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I think I start school the 2nd of Septmeber (the first Friday of the month), or it might be the second who knows. I wish my school would let me not absent on the days I don't have my college classes (I have two college classes and two APs), they just stick me in study halls.
Wish list: Xenogears, Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within, FF9 disc 2, Legend of Dragoon.

My ISO's: Harvest Moon, FF7/9/Tactics, Dino Crisis 2, Chrono Cross, Chocobo Racing (RIP), Valkyrie Profile, Parasite Eve, Vandal Hearts, Ergheiz, Breath of Fire 3, Legend of Legia
*I also have many SNES, NES, N64, and GBA roms*

Meh, In a few weeks or something. I don't think I'm going back though. I'd rather be a full-time exotic dancer or something.

I don't know you, you're not my friend.

    I'm full of good ideas..
