If they are pointing a gun at me as soon as I confront them there gonna die.. plain and simple. I do understand not everyone is ready to shoot some one even if they absolutley have to. some people would rather do the SMART thing and hide in their closet and call the cops but i have to much pride to go down like that yall know what i mean

There is nothing wrong with pride... having so much pride that it gits you killed... is really sad.

Really If your using a gun for protection... use it as your last line of defence... having a good security system, or attack dog or something helps alot.

I don't currently own any guns, though in a year or two, I WILL own a .50 Desert Eagle Action Express. God damn that is a big ass gun.

I'm more of a knife man myself. I'd rather stab an assailant than shoot him. Close range and quiet. Honestly, even in this age a good blade can do FAR more damage than any gun. Thrust with the edge facing the outside of the victim and slide the knife while inserted. Definite kill.

Hmm, what gun do I own? I think this should be plural for my place. We have over 30 guns in my household. Some are as follows:

    1. Browning .270 A Bolt
    2. 1930 Riot Shotgun (legal)
    3. Remington 20 Gauge
    4. Remington 12 Gauge x 5
    5. Rueger 9mm
    6. .38 Special
    7. .44 Magnum
    8. Russian Military Rifle
    9. .22 we have like 6 of them

We have some more, that is just a few.

I agree with having guns in the house for protection. My Dad said that if someone breaks in the house that I have permission to fuck their day up. In the state of Michigan if someone breaks into your house, you have the right to shoot them in self defense, they just cannot make it off your property.

My step mother now, it was her husband at the time, well he broke into our house because she was cheating on him with my Dad. He broke in and had a Ithica 12 guage with 5 low brass slugs. Each had a specified destination: Julie (step mother), Ben (Brother), Dad, Me, then himself. It was all planned to be a mass homicide then a suicide. He had the shotgun to my step mothers head, she hit the gun and it fired into the kitched ceiling, he now only had 4 shells left, and his plan would fail. He went down stairs to find my Dad, we were gone, my Dad ran us across the street. When he was over there he heard the gunshot. Then he heard another, when he came back over, the guy was laying in their bedroom with a bullet hole under the chin, and the shotgun laying on the ground. He was a bigger man and it was completely possible, he committed suicide.

Earlier that day he had threatened to break in, my Dad had his .44 Magnum hidden above the refridgerator to take him out, it was never needed. I was 6 when all this happened. I am a supporter of guns for not only hunting and recreation but for protection. I rest my case.

Amen to that. Though he never used the gun, just having it there tremendously increased your chances of survival. Good thing he didn't have to, though. Shooting another man kinda fucks with one's head after the fact...

There's an evil monkey in my closet!!

Er... A good home security system... would have worked wonders...

You know not letting people get in to your house in the first place...
