Why is it that there are a lot of gun maniacs/gun owners in the US? And all I hear in the news is "6-year old boy in the US shot his little sister in the head with his father's gun". Meh. I somehow feel safer here in Europe.

I find firearms interesting, but it's nothing I'd really ever need or like to own. Maybe I'll get a replica someday to hang on my wall. I used to own an 8mm BB handgun (identical to a Beretta M92F) that belonged to my fathers, but I had to leave it behind in Spain because there's no way in hell that I could've brought it here to the U.S. I also wasn't going to pay ridiculous cash just to have it here gathering dust, so it stayed behindr. It's fun to shoot cans and shit...

I have a Red Ryder BB gun. I just hope I don't shoot my eye out. ;-D

Thank you kids.
You do realise that if someone breaks into your house, and doesn't shoot/stab/attack you, and you shoot them, you are the one who ends up going to prison? It doesn't matter if they say they will kill you or not, if you shoot them, and you are not accosted in any way, you are the guilty party. In this instance, attempted murder takes precident over aggrivated robbery or breaking and entering.Originally Posted by p1rtS_dc
Yeah, that's so true, and very fucked up too. I think if someone breaks into your house, they deserve to get a beat-down or get shot in the knee at least.Originally Posted by Sprung

Did you know that a lot of people get shot by the very gun they bought to protect themselves?
well anyway, I don't think guns are a very smart thing to own.

Now we know how viral bunny signatures really spread.
I agree with that completely. You might even shoot yourself in the head while being drunk, or what the hell (Btw there was a celebrity here who shot himself this way).Originally Posted by Norgus

Yeah that is true but its not like me and my brother are runnin around playing cops and robbers with our guns. I keep mine in my closet and it only comes out when it has..wich could be from a car passin by more than a few times or a group of people walkin in our direction. but like i said, where i live its a good idea to have a gun becuz everyone has them and you never know who fights with their fist anymore and who uses gunsOriginally Posted by Norgus

It all depends on the person's location whether they need a gun for protection or not. When I used to live in the burrows of New York, it was common to carry a Saturday Night Special (a cheap gun usually used for one-time purposes) while walking around at night.
I don't need a gun. I have my own professional hitman from Texas.

For hunting purposes only: Winchester 300 magnum, 12 gauge Lakefield Mossberg and an automatic 22 caliber. Oh, and one of those big a** revolver. Not for hunting, just filling drawer space. Interesting you'd start a post on that. Any problems at school lately?!?
