I guess no one here has ever heard of it. It's a free radio communication (beside the hundred dollars equepment). It's more of a two way communication but you could be heard almost anywhere in the world.

I think every here either does, or ought to know what HAM Radio is.... unfortunately, it's just really not that great.

Heh, back in the day I had an English teacher who was a Ham Radio enthusiest, and he started the school's first Ham Radio club. After the first few weeks, when No one ever showed up to join the club, he offered anyone in his classes 100 points of extra credit to go to the club during lunch times. No one failed that semester =D
