It might be better if you try it yourself because everyone knows i have bad tasteOriginally Posted by .:][AngeluS][:.
If Square-enix would've made the game, it might have been better. I have it sitting on the floor right now. It's seriously almost brand new. I havent played it since that time i fell alseep![]()
I might give it a tryOriginally Posted by pkt-zer0
I really do have weird taste though. I also hated Vagrant Story. The beginning of the game just seemed to dark for me. Battling zombies and things like that reminded me of Resident Evil (which i despise)
yeah, i wasn't very fond of vagrant story myself.
I think that FF7 is a great game, but thats just me.
i thought it was great also, not THE best in the FF series but pretty damn close. notice how i said FF series and not RPG in general, so i don't offend or annoy anyone who gets annoyed by people who enjoy FF7 or are true rpg'ers lol
i'll say ff7 is the best because it was the first one i played and got me addicted on Rpgs all together which made me go back and play 1-6 and then of course 8,9,x,x-2 and any others that come out
SIG REMOVED.

No. Play the game. Relying on Shadow's opinion is like drowning people; you're not supposed to do it.Originally Posted by .:][AngeluS][:.
While the game is not particularly GREAT, it is a good storyline that gets fucked in the sequel. :</>)
I liked ff5 from final fantasy anthology. A short game, but what a story and it did have some humourous moments.

Its rather rediculus.
See, now your just being a smartass, haha.Originally Posted by .:][AngeluS][:.

Vagrant Story gets darker towards the end, too.Originally Posted by Shadow X
And the battles are hard as hell sometimes. Forging equipment wastes a lot of time. But still, I love that game, for it's Castlevania-like setting and great story. An addition to the action-packed battle system RPGs: Grandia 2.
I forgot to mention that the PSX Tales of Phantasia was japanese only, so you could first try the translated SNES version, or the also translated Tales of Destiny 1-2 for PSX. The battle system's pretty much the same, which is both a good and bad thing. Good because it rules, bad because I feel they should've added something over time. Oh well, can't complain.![]()
I played FFT for a few hours but quit because of the same reason. The battle system was WAY too cumbersome and seemed to pretty much suck. I don't want to control a whole army when it takes 10 minutes to move on character.Originally Posted by kryptin
FFVI is by FAR the best of the FF's. It's the only game in the series to me that stands out as being an excellent RPG.
I bought Xenosaga thinking it was a pretty good game. That game confused the hell outta me. I never knew who some of the people were, and some people would just have some weird flashbacks and crap. In the end though I played about 15 hours of the game then traded it to one of my friends for pokemon ruby.
Also tactics battle system bored the hell outta me. But like someone here said they enjoyed FFTA better than FFT, and that's the same for me. The battle system was pretty much the same but I don't know it just felt different from FFT.

Thanx a lot to DSerge for this sig.
Anyone who enjoyed FFTA more than FFT has serious mental issues.
