Different hardware to compile for. A game is much like any other peice of computer software. When it is optimized for an Nvidia card (PS2), and it has no support for an ATI card intrinsically, you have to add that functionality in. It's more work than most are willing to do. Aside from that, the mediums are of varying sizes which puts another roadblock on alot of developer's plans. It's a whole big deal that stops devels from porting games like that. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, we all know it does, but why else would games like GTA: SA take a whole year to be released on the Xbox with no added missions or features?Originally Posted by GundamGuy
