    as far as i know, this only works for midi files. but anyway, try this code:

    <*embed src="MIDI URL"
    loop="true" autostart="true"controls="smallconsole"*>

    take out the *s for it to work.

    Hmm... For some more interesting coding you could try mixing up the object and embed tags. Works for all media files cuz you use media player as a plugin.

    I've added the code I use as a .doc file. Hope it helps

    EDIT: If you want the controls to be visible just change these settings;

    "ShowControls" VALUE="0">
    "ShowStatusBar" VALUE="0">
    "TrackTime" VALUE="0">
    Set value to 1 to make them visible.

    Use this setting to make it start automatically or... not
    "AutoStart" VALUE="0">
    Again, change it to 1 if you want it to load automatically.

    And ofcourse add the filename (or entire url) of the file you want to play.

    If memory serves me correctly, it works on mp3's as well, it's been a while since I built a page with songs playing on it, but I know I had mp3's playing, hell, on one page I had a drop down menu and you could pick the song you wanted to listen to
