Do you believe in God?

I've been to church. Singing, eating, and laughing. Human traits.

God is believed in through faith. I personally do not know how christians can do it. They do it so they can rationalize the universe through their human instincts, which is to keep going up. If the universe has an end, that's a limit. If the universe doesn't have an end, they can never reach the top. To show it is possible, they create someone who has already done what we strive for. If the universe is closed, there's probably a race out there that has logic where that fits in perfectly, and they do not believe in god. I fear death. I fear it because I do not know what is to come next. This is human nature. This is probably wrong, but it is not something I can change instantly. I can't explain how we are, or why we are, but I give how we aren't, and things that aren't our reason. Life is a gamble. The christians may be right. I've repented. I've cried and wished to believe. Within hours I've been back to sanity. Do I think these few minutes of my life are wasted? Define wasted, then. Jesus was likely not the son of god. Had he existed, I believe he was simply a nice person, with a touch of insanity. Some may tell you it is best to keep an open mind, others will tell you to follow your gut instinct. These people are fools, along with the rest of the population. Nobody knows the best thing. All you can do is hope you're right. Whether saying this saves you or damns you and me, I don't know. In my personal opinion, my purpose is to be me, and continue to want the best.

Want is instinct.I do not stray from my instinct, it may have been put in me for a reason. It may have been put in me as a challenge to beat, but I'm betting on atheism. If we are all truly lucky, we will meet in heaven, and laugh the silly conversation off.

I beleive in no God or Gods, however, there certainly is educational and moral lessons in the various religions.

I find it difficult to believe in such a powerful being(s) solely on faith, especially when the scientific field can prove pretty much anything these days.

I don't beleive in Intelligent Design nor any of it's forms. Evolution of organisms on this planet was an incredibly rare coincidence, especially on such a massive scale.

This concludes my necessarily brief contribution to this thread.

Good point. Why not them? There were a few coincedences, a nice man emerged. He suffocates on the cross. God should have saved him. Or should he? Maybe kindness is another human trait.

omg it is disturbing to see how many people dont believe in god.. i have my own reasons for beliveing in god.. i believe god has spoken to me a few times i believe god has helped me a few times.. so if im being thankful that an imaginary creature is giving me peace of mind and happiness so be it..

im not saying he is any for of creature he is everywhere and nowhere at the same time. he is the alpha and the omega for this particular galaxy that is. I have my own gods to worship and to speak with i still conntact them even here in this galaxy. But the one i hold in my heart as the highest is Nactursine

Hmm. I don't think God has "helped" me, when I had successes. It was me, I helped myself... with my abilites, with knowledge, strenght, or whatever was needed for me to succeed. I depend on myself, and not on an imaginary creature up there.

Well if god is imaginary explain to me how my brother blacked out and started speaking in tongues in church.. we were non believers we never did buy into that type of thing.. infact we used to laugh when people did that shit

i recently had a small mirical happen to me +i was almost done doanloading a iso when i got kicked offline normaly that would make the download thing dissapear but it didnt whiched helped becuase i really dont feel like waiting until next weekend to redownload the file along with the next one that way i can download the next two next weekend

i do accept it if you dont. there are millions of others out there who do, you are just 1. I was just asking an aethiest to explain why this stuff had happened
