This is the real deal. This was done with PSP and iPods. I believe it's the Gratis network. It was on the show screensavers a while back. And one of the guys who did this (host of the show i believe) was told they ran out of iPods and he was sent a check for 250 dollars.

i almost tried the PSP thing. I had sign up for 3 offers then get 5 friends to to sign up for atleast one. Too much of a hassle for me.

I've checked and everywhere I look people say that it's not a scam. Lots of people have clamied to have gotten a free ipod/psp/tv/etc. from these sign-ups and I haven't senn anything about these offers being fake

CNN said they were not a scam...

Though it's still not really free... you have to sign up for one of the advertising offers.

yeah but you can imediantly quit after signing up, the hard part is getting referals from other people. i've never actually tried this, though i might try the free psp offer sometime.
