I know and as I've said before, I will follow the Metal Gear series to the end of the world. PS3 is the first next-gen console I will buy and that is because of Metal Gear Solid 4.

That's true. I know that as of now MGS4 is exclusive...

I really don't see why he can't port the game to the XBox 360... or the Revolution...

Good question really and I have no idea why not. Though the lackluster sales of MGS2: Substance for Xbox might have something to do with that.

I think he said something about developing games for each of the consoles respective audiences.

He must think that MGS4 would do better on PS3 than risk porting it to other consoles where it might not do as well. Im just guessing.

The PS3 HDD will cost less than the PS2 one or so I've heard. And it should be, in theory, supported by any PS3 game due to the way the PS3 saving system works... And it will come with Linux, enabling the purchaser to get a supercomputer with HD output and massive specs for under $500. I thin plenty of people will buy the HDD.

Execpt that the Cell Chip is really not as good as Sony is telling you.

So really the PS3 would not make a good computer... Unless your running Muti-threaded programs and know how to make the most of the 7 SPE's...

The theoretic dissertation bores me too much compared with the joy of playing a good game, so I personally wont go into it, I'll just wait to see how good are the games for this and the rest of new generation consoles.

I would like that... but really I like all kinds of games, Nintendo is nice, but so is GTA and MGS. I'll end up getting a PS3... I don't know when though because I really don't see the point in buying one right now.

PSX and PS2 were arround 80.000 ptas (450�) here in Spain when they were launched which was more than 500$, so PS3 is gonna be arround that too, no big difference in here.
