I think it's a bad idea not to release the system with a HDD, because...releasing it later is sure to mean that noone will support it. Look at the PS2 HDD. Like...five games support the thing.

Yeah, I can see why Sony wouldn't include one, given the current projected cost for the system, but...it's still a bad idea. Why not throw at least a five GB HDD in there, and then let people buy an upgrade later? Bad move, Sony....

Yes of course... because it's the PS3...Whether with HDD or not, the PS3 will outsell all other next-gen consoles.
Now say if Microsoft was smart they would have called there system the PS3... then way they would be able to sell it, even if it's overpriced and has no games.
No one has explaind the logic behind the PS3 outselling the Revolution and X360...
PS: I don't think Sony will sell quite as many PS3's this time around... I think the Market Share will be much more even.

With the most 3rd party support of any of the three bigs, gamers always look toward the Playstation franchise to find the best games. Nintendo is the only one that can possibly compete with sony for the sheer fact that Nintendo is the most innovative and has kept pretty secret with the details of the revolution. Xbox 360 will sell well since its the first to come out but 2006 will be a sad year for Microsoft.

Sony will not always be on top. It may not be this next generation, or the one after that, But it will happen.
