Definatley System Shock 2.
I was playing it in the dark and wasn't suspecting anything, then all of a sudden
one of those zombies came out of nowhere and I jumped out of my chair.
i actually was not scared at all by system shock 2 (hacks into vending machine).

RE4 should have been called Leon's Adventure or something. especially since it had virtually nothing to do with umbrella inc and anything else from the RE series.
Am i the only one who like RE4? it was sort of an odd camera angle but you could get the hang of it in about 15 mins and its really fun to play as well, but even though i was really looking forward with another RE game with leon in it this didnt really make the cut it could have had a better storyline to it that fit the RE series but its still a great game on its own.
Resident Evil 2.
I was about 10 when i first played it.
I was scared to death, could not sleep well for several months.

Ok first has to be the original RE....never play that game at 2.30am, with lights off, a few beers and the PSX running through a real loud stereo, pretty much the same as with Silent Hill. Also, The Thing on the PC....really captured the atmosphere of the film, and managed to strike the living fear into me, so creepy. Alien Vs Predator 2 also did a good job of making me fill my chads, but only really at the beginning.
One final note, I'm sat here staring at the CD of this Sanitarium people keep talking about about, but for some reason, it keeps crashing......looks like I'll never find out if it really is scary.......
I think I mentioned Fatal Frame in my first post...? The atmosphere does the trick in that game, that huge haunted house... And in the first corridor, where you catch a glimpse of that person walking by at the end...? That was pretty freaky, I didn't expect that, and the game really picked up from there (wasn't expecting the game to be good at all)...
Silent Hill... The first game was awesome, the second one not as good, but still great, then it started a steady decline...
Although I have to say I always felt like a cheater for running so much (you could run from almost any monster in the game, and that sucked)...
Haha. Lotsa people can't get used to the scheme... I wonder why...? Maybe they're not very coordinated...Originally Posted by Sprung
I got used to it after a good 10 minutes or so... After a few hours, you can run around zombies like a pro... Saves bullets...![]()
