    Default Rhapsody

    http://www.mightyrhapsody.com/

This is fairly old news but I almost fainted when I saw this, Christopher Lee, over 80 years old I think and he is doing narration and vocals in a metal band, I am a big fan of his, and after seeing this, I just think he is so much more cooler.

    Thoughts?

Edit: Hmm, I'll see what I can do about making an option of whether or not you want a vote on...

Yeah... Christopher Lee also did some narrations over one or two songs by Manowar, too. One awesome dude. "Defender" was the song, from the "Fighting the World" album from the 80's. I'm sure Sprung remembers their "Blow Your Speakers" track from that very same album, being the old man that he is. (j/k) Btw, Manowar will be playing in my area along with Rhapsody this month, but tickets have been sold out for at least 2 months. I'd kill to see Manowar live. :/

Wow, I didn't know that, shit, I really must look at what he has done I mean, like he is one of my favourite actors, but seeing him do metal, another thing I like, its like a combination of my favourite things

When I first heard about that album I went on amazon and bought it. Which was yesterday.

They have to be my favorite metal band. Too bad I live on the west coast and work. I would have loved to go to one of those manowar concerts.

I have heard about Rhapsody but never really seen any products from them. Is the music good? I can't download anything from DC++ as I haven't been able for a copule of months...

    And fix that auto-poll, please...
    Have you seen me before?

I had that album, in which, Christopher Lee failed to add any depth to. Actually, it even made Rhapsody's image cheesier (something deemed impossible by a few.. ), what with taking themselves too seriously and all the orchestrations.

lol, I heard of Rhapsody's legendary cheesiness , but to be honest, I think I'm that big a fan of Christopher Lee, I'd get it anyway

Yeah, I knew about this for some time... personally, I didn't really like that album, but Christopher Lee taking part in some songs was quite a surprise to me too.

Christopher Lee is also appearing on stage with them next month in europe.

And their cheesiness is legendary, trust me, but then again power metal isn't for everybody.

He also did a duet with Fabio Lione on the "The Magic Of The Wizard's Dream" CDS, check that one out. Rhapsody is fucking cheesy, but most of their albums are pretty good.
