I havent seen a thread about this so....

anyway, Sega has been pretty successful with its Sonic franchise. Over 38 million units sold, its one of the most known and played series in the world. Throughout the years, new characters have been joining with Sonic to make each game unique in its story and gameplay. But now Sonic has been pushed aside, and his newest rival, Shadow, is taking the main stage. Shadow the Hedgehog is the newest game from the Sonic Team and its looking to be a good one. The game follows the renegade hedgehog, Shadow, as we learn more about his past, his present, and his destiny. Shadow The Hedgehog allows players to collect an arsenal of weapons, vehicles, and objects to rocket through more than 50 unique missions. In his feature debut, Shadow is tormented by a dark past, struggling to discover his true identity. He is caught in a complex battle between aliens, the G.U.N. army, and Dr. Eggman, and discovers that he may be the very element that will tip the scales between good and evil forever. i read about this in some issues of games, i think EGM or game informer/pro, not sure which one but it looks good. about time i say! shadow is cooler than sonic IMO and this game will be sure to kick ass.

There will probably be more Sonic games in the future but Shadow is the man for now.

Yea when i first heard about it, i thought they were gonna turn it into a first person shooter.

Eh, it just comes across as an odd mish-mash of Sonic and Ratchet and Clank to me. I may still check it out, but as of now, it's just not all that appealing to me.
