* ID3v2 support with padding for fast tag updates
* Cleaned-up preferences
* On-line help system for preferences pages (uses the HA wiki)
* Playback queue (contents are currently not viewable)
* Instantaneuos volume changes
* User interface selection: if a new user interface is detected at start-up, you can chose which one to use
* File type associations editor in preferences
* Ability to reset individual pages in preferences (if supported by the component that provides the page)

Ive been using it as my audio player (exclusively) and I find it does the job nicely without having the bullshit that comes with winamp, as skinner puts it.

ok bullshit in winamp
Modern skins: (I know this isnt necisarry)
video playback (I already have programs that are GOOD at playing video, thank you very much)
net radio stations: they all sound shit anyway
net tv stations: this might be good, but do I need it on my audio player? no.

theres probably other things that I'm missing, I havnt used winamp for ages. It is good, I just dont need most of the features on it.

Err, I'll try this player at some point but Winamp is fine for now. How much RAM does it take up?

It's currently at 10 MB, haven't seen it go above 20.
