I thought it might be fun to make something to liven up this section I'm going to sticky this, lets see who has a good lot of skill here I'll post a really crap one I made so people who make theirs can really improve on it

Edit: I'm going to set up the odd competition here to make things more moreish, inject a bit of life into the place

I think a competition every two weeks should be good enough

Try and make the best Flash movie or sequence.

Only one submission allowed, this competition will be active until 1st June at which point a new thread with a poll will be put up for a week, all participants may submit as many of their creations as they like but they must say which submission they intend to present as their final one.

Well, I'm making an adventure/RPG like game in Flash, but it's gonna be in Hungarian, so there wouldn't be much sense in posting it here, even when it's complete. But after that, I'm planning to make another game with that same engine, which could possibly be english.

Nice, very nice. I'm only posting mine as a sort of crap one that anyone could improve on start the wheel rolling, so to speak

Well, I'm going to try my hand at this, then when this thread has died/had enough submissions/time up thing, I'll close this and make a poll for everyone, I'll try and think up some rules for it

Alright, here's my early beta/buggy as hell adventure game concept. At least you can see how it should be, when it's done. Unfortunately, it's not english, and I seem to have screwed up something recently, which was okay in the previous version. I only have that compiled as an EXE, around 400kB, and I can't upload that here.

The main features I screwed around quite much with are the scrolling item list and the dialogue. But that should work now as I expect it to.

That is very impressive, I think you've beaten me hands down with anything I hope to produce.

Well I have got a few ideas for the next one, but if you want to suggest something thats a bit more rounded go for it, I variety is the way to go

Okay, I have chosen to do a little role-playing game like Final Fantasy. Of couse I can't finish it in such a short time, but I'll post it here as complete as I can get it by the deadline. The name is Petrol Fantasy

I think this competition will have to be counted as a tester, all of the things here can be used on other competitions and will not be counted against for it.
