The metaphysical imagery was really particularly effective. Oh and, interesting rhythmic devices too. Which seemed to counterpoint the surrealism of the underlying metaphor of the humanity of the Vogonity of the poet's compassionate soul which contrives through the medium of the verse structure to sublimate this, transcend that, and come to terms with the fundamental dichotomies of the other, and one is left with a profound and vivid insight into whatever it was the poem was about.

Douglas Adams.....well, he owns you. At least I'd like to think that he does.

He did, until he allowed his work to be butchered and added to the list of movies that should never have been made.

    I'll drink to that.

I did not think the movie it's self was that bad... but it just buchered the book, which makes me very sad.

    Yes.

Also, I have yet to see the movie. But I'm sure I'll be outrageously disappointed with it.

But it's already been, like, 6 hours. And I'm impatient, yeah. But that has got to overwhelm even GODJonez's spamming. (Nevermind that few posts here in the Hangout could count as spam, but hopefully you get the idea.)

    *Edit: Thanks.
