What seems to be the problem

My cousin brother wanted to hit me b/c I didn't agree with his idea of God. I argued with the goon for over three hours about how maybe he should let people have different opinions and let them live and he kept telling me that when I turn 26 (which is the holy enlightening age that he is currently living in) I would have 'experienced God in all his goodness and strength' and the bloody bafoon sounded worse than the Pope and all I did was disagree and he wanted to hit me.
Why can't fucking people let me fucking live and be different. Why are people who are older than you so fucking condescending? Why can't they talk to you like a human being. He tells me I don't have enough experience in life as much as he does, does that mean, I can't disagree with him?
