Default I think i just accidentally ordered something

Ok so every once in a while i look and see if broadband is available in my area by going to broadband.com. I visit that sight about 5 min ago put in my phone number like usuall and my name as it usually asks me to do and hit submit. A list of services come up and i click one to find out more info about it but then it took me to a page that said it had confirmed my order. Did i just order this service on accident? If so my parents aren't going to be happy.

I dont think so. I mean what would they bill? did you give them any credit card info or anything? although that is kind of wierd that it says that about the reciept. Im not sure. Hope you dont get your ass warmed by your parents though

I think this is awfully funny but my parents won't think it is. I didn't give them any credit card or anything. Maybe they bill after install. I wouldn't mind having the service but i will be in huge trouble. Maybe i shouldn't even tell them until the verizion guy gets to our house to install it.

Verizon doesn't require a credit card to bill you for the services, they add it to your current phone bill, which they have access to. From the looks of the receipt, you may have actually ordered the service.

Strongbad, call this number, and explain what happened.
    Verizon Customer Service: 1 (800) 567 - 6789

Right now, Verizon has sent you a modem and set-up kit, which I assume hasn't arrived yet.
Until, you set everything up, and activate your service, you will not be billed for DSL service.
But you will probably have to send the modem and set-up kit back to Verizon at your own expense.
If you don't, you'll have to pay around 100$ for a modem you don't even want.

If you're a minor (under 18) then Verizon will have to accomodate you, since you have to be at least 18 to order the service in the first place.

    DO NOT DELAY any longer.

Just a side comment: Those people from CSI would no doubt take that pic, stretch it, bend it, submerge it in various chemical compounds and in the end, they'd get your number... Be careful!! :O!!

well, when they send the first bill, make sure YOU get it, and don't pay it.

If they actually send a bill, I'd call them and tell them that it was just an accident. I mean, if you just kept the bill and didn't pay, they'd send it over to the debt collecters and then you'd be truly screwed.

And they'll increase the sum every time for the burden they have to face not getting the money in time.

Hey strongbad, why don't you just not get yourself into the situation in the first place. You know that you are not getting broadband so why are you even tempting yourself?
