it is possibly an rts, but it is definitely not Dominion or any of the Command and Conquers. Think to some of the games that didn't get so much publicity. and actually look at the picture....don't just skim it!

I enjoyed that game, really. The gameplay balance was a little off sometimes, but nothing beats building your own robots...

Hmm, I'll say Total Annihillation... although I think pkt is the winner, cuz this really looks like Metal Fatigue. Well, the graphics of those games are quite similar, so I'll try.
EDIT: Oh, just read the post about the game... and TA was well known by the public. So I guess it is MF.

pkt-zer0 got it right on, quite the classic game that not many people I know even heard of, But it is Metal Fatigue. Here is the original Picture for those of you who haven't seen the real thing before.
Good Guesses Though, Both Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War and The Legendary Total Annihilation are close, pkt is right, Metal Fatigue.

Allrighty. Double-posting to save this thread from extinction: This is a strategy game for PC, from 1997. I guess most members were wee' little kiddies back then, so you have an advantage if you like older games
