You're absolutely correct. The United States Championship was the mid-card title in World Championship Wrestling (WCW). A few months after the World Wrestling Federation (now known as World Wrestling Entertainment/WWE) bought out Ted Turner's WCW, the WCW US title was unified with the Federation's Intercontinental Championship.Originally Posted by Ultimate X
