Default I know this was probably asked 1 time, but...

How can you rip the origional songs from PSX CD's?

Is there a file that can do that? Or do you have to do it manually?

Are you talking about regular CD audio tracks, like the tracks you can play if you put the disc in a CD player? You can use any CD-audio ripping software for that, such as Winamp.

If you're trying to extract other game audio/video data, I think there's a bunch of utilities for that at the main site which you can download, just look around.

The one's that have CDDA tracks do...

Those with the other forms do not. You would have to use a special tool to rip them.

You would need to rip them to psfs. From there you could convert them to mp3s or whatever you desire. However it is a very difficult process.

If you want some information http://www.neillcorlett.com/ is the place to look.

PSMPlay can rip the XA files off game disks and convert it to MP3 or wav. The XA is similar to the mp3 or wav equivilant for PS1.

No, you are missing that file. I got the same error using ePSXe. I downloaded the file (google it!) and installed it to System32 folder and no problems after that
