Default Help burning Tales of Destiny

Anyone manage to burn this game successfully? Every time I've tried it, downloading it from different sources, scanning the isos for corruption, etc, I always end up "unrecoverable read error" messages around the 93% finished mark. Any suggestions?

What software are you using to burn the game? And at what speed (8x, 16x, 32x, etc.)?
It sounds to me like it could be a problem with your CD RW drive, or with the CD's you're using (a bad batch maybe)

apparently the burning speed thing is just a myth. I think... cuz my cdrw burns at 52x, and as long as I don't do max speed I'm fine.

zero_chance, does ur cdrw support 1:1 ratio burning?? something like that. Cuz I used to burn psx games when I had a really old cdrw and it couldn't do the job.

and why play ToD when there's ToD 2?

I burned Tales of Destiny a couple of Days(downloaded it from here) ago. I t works fine. But I burned it a little differently.
At first, I mounted image to virtual drive to see if it works. It worked. Then I copied cd (from virtual drive) vith my Nero and made NRG file. Afterwards, I burned NRG file to a cd (speed 52x).

It depends on your burner and on your PSX model. Great if it works good for you, but don't tell everybody to do it. Cause a bunch of ppl will just waste CDRs then.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here
