At first when I looked at the index page I wondered what the joke would be. Then I did something out of interest thinking "well, I'll check this and look for the joke after that", but that thing was the joke itself

No point telling it, it ruins the fun. You have to figure it out yourself.

Lurking some other forum, came across a thread that said in big bold letters that went something like- "The Pope died today." So, in shock and disbelief, I clicked on the link and was taken to the author's almost barren post, consiting only of "lol April fools."

Not funny.

That is fucking hilarious. He wins unconditionally. Yes, I am a fucked up individual. I haven't fell for any April Fool's jokes besides someone saying, "Hey. You're pretty smart."

Gmail claimed to be giving all accounts infinite storage space. Read the bottom of the page and all becomes clear. That said, all accounts are apparently being upgraded to 2gb. This isn't a joke as far as I can tell...

I still like a few years back, when GameFAQs completely changed the layout green, and changed the logo to "GameFAX", and made it appear an all Xbox, all the time FAQ/News site.

That was classic.
