extracting content of a .iso image

it may seem to be a noobish question and sorry because ive been here for to many time by now but i dont know how to extract the contents of a .iso image i supose you need to use isobuster but i cant find the way to extract the contents inside the image i just get another image when i try to extract it,thanks in advance

hmmm, you could try putting the iso on a virtual drive I suppose...

don't ask me how to do that though I've never had the necessity to do so myself.

you could prolly also burn it with nero or something to a disc and see if the files appear on the disc instead of the iso... but besides that I have no other ideas.

i know how to mount it and i already tried but this image is of an xbox game,and it wont recognize it when i try to open the drive btw you do that with daemon tools ,i also tried burning it but i dont have a dvd burner so i used a cd-rw some say that xbox can read these ones as well but it didnt work,so the only way to play it is to extract the content an transfer it to my xbox via ftp and play it from my hd,im actually downloading the program sprung told im going to check it out

I've never seen an xbox read a written CD. I think they can't.

yes try out sprung's idea, he is far more wise than I, especially in the ways of ISO.

really? I just tried and it said WinRAR doesn't read the file type.

�? i tried and didnt work with rar,also when i open the iso in the program sprung said, it says the track has errors in the system content of the data may be displayed incorrectly,and i still dont know how to extract the contents so sprung can you please point me in the right way

I have no clue. I have never downloaded/burned/tested/seen an Xbox ISO (yet)

Isn't DVD decryptor or something supposed to handle things like this? Might not, as I have never seen it either

i dont know,i thought that it could be extracted with any kind of image extractor program,i guess ill have to look for more information in other place thats not xbox scene because they didnt want to help me

I used to have info on it when I was trying to do Xbox stuff, but I found it way too complicated to be worthwhile and just gave up on it.

try searching something called XISO I remember something like that.

ok ,btw my game is actually a demo,i requested here for it but i had no responses actually i got it from other place, it is conkers live and reloaded demo if someone wants the torrent just tell me

What I'd like to know is how you move files into a .iso file. Is it done with WinRAR? I think I've tried it before, but if I remember correctly I got some "Read Only" error. Really useful for us warez-whoring cunts, we can save a crack/patch for a game into the ISO it came as. Damn straight.

you could try using nero to put it in an ISO I think... I dunno, I don't use nero often enough but I think that's one of it's capabilities.

i think the contents have been extracted from another cd and made them as a iso,this can be done with isobuster but i dont know how to revert it
