It's funny how some people prefer Firefox over Opera by mentioning things that are in Opera too. They just don't know

Ignorance is such sweet bliss. I simply do not like Opera. I have had problems with the layout, and I fixed them. I have had problems with the functions, and I fixed those as well. The thing that prevents me from sticking with Opera is the fact that it is super duper slow on my computer and how it just seems bloated. As hell. Like... moreso than the orginal Kazaa client. This thing is horrible. But, it might just be my computer being outdated.

IMO Internet Explorer is more bloated than Opera... but maybe it is just that I am 'pro' Opera user that can customize it so precisely.

I couldnt get gmail to work with opera for some reason but other than that its not a bad replacement web browser.. Either of them are far better than Internet explorer. Lets just hope that spyware makers dont start targetting firefox/opera.

They already are, at least with FireFox anyway. That's what I use, and lately I've been getting pop-ups occasionally, even with the pop-up blocker on. So they've already figured out a way around that. It's only a matter of time before Mozilla/FireFox has the same problems as IE, unless the Mozilla devs are able to stay one or two steps ahead of the adware/spyware/malware makers.

All you need for a pop-up is a javascript request. The only way to block those is to completely turn off javascript, but then you lose the functionality of some sites. It's big bad internet we live on and because of this, there will ALWAYS be something that is better than what you have to protect you from it.

when i was full of popups i start to use Opera. and start IE every time when something disapired on site. i like Opera for tab browsing. BUT when i found MYIE thing, Opega goes to resycler bin because MYIE is really better. really more features and in every version it grows up.
