I stay away from Kazaa [lite], the network is so polluted with bad files and the speeds are abysmal. IRC/Torrents do it for me..

I used to use Kazaa lite a bunch but I have kinda strayed away from it for now, been using, WinMX lately and am quite satisfied.

However now I use torrent more than WInMX...

my friend has been pressuring me to get Ares Lite, but I don't feel like getting another p2p program, they are semi-dangerous with the viruses n what not.
So I make games now sort of. Check the out the one I have in the IGF this year, its totally free: www.mackvswindows.com

i'll recommend ares lite now. i just installed it and from what i saw:
    -search results are instantaneus
    -downloads are fast
-basically the good stuff from kazaa
-won't maximize for some reason, stays in a small sized screen.

I'm used to DC++ and thats what I use mostly... maybe its not the fastest and maybe it doesnt have the best selection out there, but I've been using it for years now and I like it

BitTorrent is not a filesharing protocol you can forget about... The Azureus client and BitTornado work quite well, I only use BT if I'm trying to nab something big or rare that can only be found on a tracker nowadays. Almost no anime nowadays either. I also use BT for warez, games, movies, and in the past: music.

It really depends what I'm looking for to decide which is my favorite. If I'm trying to find music albums and download them quickly, I always use DC++. However, for albums that I can't find(or download due to a slow peer/lack of users/etc), I use eMule. I can find a lot of rare stuff on Emule that I can't find anywhere else, not just music. eMule also saves you the hassle of searching in bunch of hubs, hoping that the peers have good connections, and that other people have the same file with the same filesize and name in case that person disconnects, the queues in eMule are worth it.

I also use Emule a lot for warez and games, as well as occasionally movies amongst other videos(not just pr0n).

Hmm... considering how often I use it, I'd say Emule is my favorite. Add it, biatch!

DC++, it has almost everything I need. If I can't find it at DC++, I always check Soulseek (which most likely doesn't have it either...).
