Morpheus is the one I always use, because I always get rather high download speeds with it.

i first started downloading via p2p using morpheus a long time ago. i then moved on to kazaa, than kazaa lite. overall i say kazaa was the most usefull for me at the time. now i just use winmx though since there are never any fake files there.

eMule owns all. It has almost everything. Speeds are good at times, too.

DC++. Open source, no spyware or such. The only one I have. Guess those are the main points...

Well I use Azureus the most, but I've also started using Limewire for the odd file. It seems to have a better selection than either Kazaa or WinMX and, unlike those two, I don't have to wait in queues for hours on end.

I use BNR to download shit. Binary News Reaper. It doesn't really fit into the P2P category, in that it's not a direct file sharing network. It's a news-reader program. Even so, it's what I primarily use to download stuff.

Well I think seeing as torrent contributes to a huge chunk of all information sent over the internet (30% a while ago, wasnt it?) I think thats a FAIRLY big one you missed. I pretty much refuse to use non torrent networks.

But I don't think BitTorrent really is a P2P sharing program. With those sharing programs you just put up the files that can be downloaded by others freely. With torrents, you just put up specific torrent file to be seeded.

it is and isn't....those ones kinda have more differences.
My fav is Ares Lite. Its style is similar to Kazaa and Morpheus etc but absolutly no spyware and the speeds are incredible. I always have fast speeds from 60kbps and up but on Ares I ALWAYS get like 150kbps and up. its awesome. DC++ is also good but since I started using Ares I started using DC++ less and less
