I've always wondered how O Fortuna and Beethoven's 9th Symphony would sound if rearranged in metal fashion. Thank you, sir.Originally Posted by Howie

You should try this too then. Awesome.
edit: Communic - Conspiracy In Mind
I remember listening to their highly praised demo a while ago, and I wasn't too impressed, really. The full-length sounded a lot better though. Norwegian Prog Metal, for those who didn't know.

Umh, my Winamp just crashed
I was trying to play Ending theme of Unreal Tournament (by Alexander Brandon of Straylight productions), but...
EDIT: Now it works. It is the music that plays back in trophy room.
Have you seen me before?
Malevolent Creation - Captured
A very long-running yet overlooked death metal band from the US. This is from their new album Warkult(they also have a new live album out), it starts off with a slightly melodic riff but then you get some brutal American style DM. Lyrics about war, brutality and shit, that's pretty cool, I've always preffered lyrics like that instead of silly gore or "I'm going to kill you" type lyrics...
Edit: Winamp crashed on me last night too, I think it may be b/c of the Audio Scrobbler plugin that just fucks up sometimes.
Krisiun - Cursed Scrolls
The opening riff so damned awesome, even though I've been listening to DM for almost a year, I still get excited and amazed when I listen to this song. The other riffs in the song are great too, very much like the old Morbid Angel or Vader, just executed in a much neater fashion. The drumming fits in perfectly. Sepultura isn't the only heavy band that Brazil should be proud of.![]()

Brazil has a lot of great bands
Overdose - How To Pray
Awesome thrash band from Brazil
Solid Base - Sha la long
This one becomes boring quick. No worth downloading (or buying), if you don't necessarily want to hear it.

Exodus - War Is My Sheperd
I'm starting to love thrash bands. Awesome, fast riffs through out the entire song. The ace solo is a plus for me
Therion did an arrangement too? Awesome. I do not know of their earlier works, as I've only listened to the double album released in 2004 (Sirius B and Lemuria), and it is pretty darn awesome.Originally Posted by Howie

This track contains some of the most beautiful acoustic melodies I've heard. Quality viking metal courtesy of Vakyas. He knows how to mix upbeat, and downright sinister melodies in perfect harmony. It's like listening to a more serious and epic Finntroll.
Quorthon would be proud.![]()
Graveland - Battle of Wotan's Wolves
wow I think I'm starting to like black metal more now....
Eminem ft. Royce Da 5'9 - When Bad Meets Evil
I haven't heard this in ages, I miss lstening to violent music...
So I make games now sort of. Check the out the one I have in the IGF this year, its totally free: www.mackvswindows.com

Melody Club - Palace Station
Because its probably the most addictive song Ive ever heard. Cracking tune, and gets better with each and every listen. Highly recommended.
