And if bios setup has been locked, depending on the bios manufacturer you could have the ultra sekret l33t password, which works always.

However I don't know anything about Linux, I know it's an OS but that's as far as it goes. Please tell me about it. Can you run it of a CD? If not, I�m sure there are other useful bootable tools.
